About Axel Starck
A train fan since my high school days (the 60's) in Beloeil Quebec. My home room looked out at the CN main line and a small industrial yard, a real distraction. First photos were with dad's old AGFA bellows 2-1/4 camera, processed in a home darkroom. Fascination with steam continues today. Life, work, and other hobbies put the rail photography on the back burner for many years. Now retired in Whitby ON, it might be time to start shooting images again.
